OVERVIEW

The Anaesthesia and Critical Care Department provides comprehensive peri-operative, intensive care, pain management, and emergency services for diverse patient populations. Faculty are experts in trauma, pediatric, and obstetric anaesthesia as well as critical care, with a commitment to patient safety, innovation, and teamwork.

Trained in Anaesthesiology with DNB from Fortis Hospital, Mohali, exposed to super-specialties including Oncoanaesthesiology, critical care, and difficult airway management.

Senior residency experience at Sanjay Gandhi Memorial Hospital (Delhi) and AIIMS New Delhi, including advanced work in Onco-Anaesthesia and Palliative Medicine.

Certified palliative care training with extensive involvement in pain management and education programmes.

Experience as Attending Consultant at Aakash Healthcare, Dwarka

  • DNB Anaesthesia: Fortis Hospital Mohali (2016-2019)
  • CCEPC Palliative Care: AIIMS, New Delhi (2020)

  • DNB thesis: Prediction of difficult intubation using conventional bedside screening tests versus ultrasound parameters (Randomised comparative study)
Teaching and Experience:
  • Resident and consultant roles at leading hospitals (Fortis Mohali, Sanjay Gandhi Memorial, AIIMS New Delhi, National Cancer Institute Jhajjar, Aakash Healthcare, Maharaja Agreson Sat Narain Gupta Hospital).
