Dr. Poonam Agrawal, MBBS, MD, FIMSA, ACME, is a distinguished academician and researcher serving as a Dean cum Professor in Maharaja Agrasen Kedar Nath Gupta Medical College, Bahadurgarh. Throughout her career, she has earned numerous academic distinctions, awards, prizes, and medals, reflecting her exemplary contributions to the field of Biochemistry and Medical Education. She has spearheaded numerous hands-on workshops, equipping young faculty with innovative teaching-learning methodologies and fostering an integrated approach to education.

She has authored many books with a student centric approach. Her academic repertoire includes over 50 research papers published in nationally and internationally indexed journals. Her other accomplishments are- Advanced Course in Medical Education (ACME) at CMC Ludhiana (Batch 2016 A),Fellowship in Assessment for Health Professionals (FAHP) at Adesh University, Bathinda.

Dr. Agrawal has also been appointed as an observer by the National Medical Commission to ensure the smooth conduct of Faculty Development Programs at medical colleges affiliated with MAMC,New Delhi.

Dr. Agrawal’s interests in medical education focus on innovations in Teaching-Learning Methodologies (TLM) and Peer-Assisted Learning. Her long-cherished aspiration to share the art and science of teaching-learning technologies is beneficial for both students and educators .

Dr. Shinky Mehta is currently working as Associate Professor in the Department of Biochemistry at Maharaja Agrasen Kedar Nath Gupta Medical College, Bahadurgarh. She has done MBBS and MD (Biochemistry) from Pt. B.D. Sharma PGIMS, Rohtak, Haryana.

She has more than 10 years of teaching experience with an excellent academic background.She is also well versed with Clinical Biochemistry Laboratory work. With her scholarly expertise, she is recognized for her student-friendly approach, conceptual clarity and engaging teaching style. She believes in integrating basic biochemistry with clinical applications to ensure students understand its relevance in patient care.

She has contributed to research through many publications and presentations. She has published 15 research articles in Indexed Journals and presented research papers in national conferences . Her areas of interest are Nutrition, Genetics and Recent Advances in Medical Education Technologies. She received many awards for Oral Paper Presentation, Poster Presentation and Quiz Competition in national conferences.

She has successfully accomplished Revised Basic Course Workshop (RBCW) in Medical Education Technology and National Teachers' Training Course (NTTC) in Medical Education Technologies. She is a life member of Association of Medical Biochemists of India (AMBI). She has been a member of Foundation Course Committe for MBBS students . She has also been involved in many Extra curricular activities.

She was awarded Corona Warrior Certificate by Dr. BSA Hospital, Govt. Of NCT of Delhi for the outstanding dedication, commitment and courage in fight against Covid-19.

Dr. Parul Singla

Dr.Parul Singla, highly accomplished Biochemist with over 19+ year of experience in Healthcare/ Diagnostics Industry. She has done basic course in medical education (BCME) and basic course in biomedical research (BCBR).

She is a certified NABL Assessor, NABH internal auditor and is an expert of CAP Accreditation program. She is author of several publications in both national and international journals. She has special research interest in the field of Diabetes, metabolic syndrome and Allergy. She is mentor to management student of XLRI.

She always focuses on delivering very high-quality lab reporting with sole focus on serving her patients and clinicians. She is very focused on continuous quality improvement in medical laboratory. Her area of expertise is Laboratory Quality Management, Lean Six Sigma in Hospital & Diagnostic Sector.

Dr. Nisha Chauhan

Dr.Nisha Chauhan working as an Assistant professor here in the Department of Biochemistry in Maharaja Agrasen Kedar Nath Gupta Medical College Bahadurgarh (Haryana). She has done her Masters ( MSc in Medical Biochemistry) and PhD (Medical Biochemistry) from Shree Guru Govind Singh Tricentenary University Gurugram, Haryana.

She has more than 7 years of new curriculum based Teaching experience and she is an efficient Medical Biochemist bringing more than 5 years of expertise in clinical Biochemistry laboratory from Dr.Baba Saheb Ambedkar Medical College Delhi. She has also maintained equipment and lab areas in alignment with regulatory guidelines . She is a skilled multitasker with excellent communication and problem solving skills . Also familiar with NABL and ISO 15189.

She has done a Revised Basic Course Workshop ( RBCW) and was a member of the organising committee of CME and Workshops in the Biochemistry Department of Dr.Baba Saheb Ambedkar Medical College Delhi.

She is research oriented and published 11 research papers in National and international journals. And she is very good in Academics also involves many extracurricular activities like in Foundation Course of First year MBBS students.

With her skills in teaching and laboratory work , she will definitely prove to be a pillar in the growth of this institute.
