Anatomy is a fundamental pillar of medical education, serving as the foundation of medical knowledge and clinical understanding.
The discipline focuses on gross anatomy, histology, neuroanatomy, embryology, osteology, genetics, radiological anatomy and surface anatomy, with a strong emphasis on clinical correlation.
Anatomy also plays a vital role in fostering professional attitudes, respect and effective communication skills among medical students.
Our vision is to develop a premier medical educational and research centre.
To establish virtual anatomy dissection lab and molecular-genetic lab.
To create awareness regarding body and organ donation for teaching and training in medical education.
Our primary mission is to build strong foundation for 1st year MBBS students by teaching Anatomy and offering in depth understanding and knowledge of the gross, microscopic, and developmental anatomy of the human body.
Our goal is to strengthen the comprehensive knowledge and understanding of anatomical/embryological basis of clinical conditions, correlations and disease presentations.
We endeavour to cultivate a research-oriented attitude in undergraduate students.
We are committed to establishing a strong base for the holistic development of the Indian Medical Graduate.
