Dr. P. S. Nayyer is a distinguished physician and academician with over 38 years of experience in Internal Medicine. He obtained his MBBS degree from Maulana Azad Medical College, New Delhi (1982), and completed his MD (Medicine) from the renowned Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh (1987).
Throughout his illustrious career, Dr. Nayyer has combined clinical excellence with a deep commitment to medical education. As a Professor of Medicine, he has been a teaching consultant for postgraduate students for more than 25 years and has served as an examiner for postgraduate examinations across several Institutes.
His professional interests encompass Diabetes Mellitus, Infectious Diseases, HIV/AIDS, and Nephrology. Dr. Nayyer has authored and co-authored numerous national and international research publications, contributing significantly to medical literature and clinical practice.
He has held key administrative and public health roles, including serving as the In-charge of the Delhi State AIDS Control Programme, where he played a vital role in HIV prevention and care initiatives. His leadership and service were recognized with the State Health Award by the Government of Delhi in 2017.
In addition to his academic and clinical pursuits, Dr. Nayyer has rich administrative experience, having served as the Medical Superintendent of a 300-bed Delhi Government Hospital for over four and a half years, where he oversaw hospital operations, policy implementation, and quality improvement initiatives.
Dr. Nayyer is widely respected for his clinical acumen, academic mentorship, and commitment to advancing patient care and medical education.
He completed his MBBS in 2013 from the VMMC & SAFDERJUNG HOSPITAL DELHI, and subsequently earned his MD in 2016 from the VMMC & SAFDERJUNG HOSPITAL DELHI .
His academic career includes teaching and clinical experience as a Senior Resident at ESIC & PGIMSR BASAIDARAPUR, DELHI, alongside Assistant Professor roles at ESIC & PGIMSR BASAIDARAPUR, DELHI and NDMC MEDICAL COLLEGE & HRH, NEW DELHI . Then as an Associate Professor of Medicine at NDMC MEDICAL COLLEGE & HRH, NEW DELHI.
An active researcher, he has contributed 12 publications to National and International journals indexed in EMBASE & others and 1 case report published by Wolters & Kluwer.
He has also completed the Basic Course in Biomedical Research (BCBR). He has also completed other courses like CISP, AETCOM, Revised Basic Course Workshop in MET, BCME at MAULANA AZAD MEDICAL COLLEGE, NEW DELHI

Dr. Narendra Verma is Associate Professor in the Department of General Medicine. He has positive qualities like scietific temper, quest for knowledge and empathy for patients which result in a combination of Academic brilliance and Rightful Clinical approach in Medicine. He has been a MERIT lister, securing 5th position in All India Higher Secondary Examinations at School level (1975), where he was also AWARDED '"Cadbury Award " for being the Best All rounder at St. Xavier’s School, Delhi.
He did his MBBS from Maulana Azad Medical College, where he bagged GOLD MEDALS in Pharmacology ( Sarla Devi Gold medal, for Best student in Pharmacology, in1980) as well as Gold Medal in Paediatrics ( Kalawati Jagan Nath Singh Memorial Prize, for Best student in Paediatrics, in 1982). He did his MD in Medicine from MAULANA AZAD MEDICAL COLLEGE and Associated LNJP and GB Pant Hospitals, New Delhi.
Dr. Narendra Verma holds a vast experience of over 37 years in Clinical medicine from his Govt. service. While in service, he also successfully completed a Certificate course in Health Management from National Institute of Health and Family Welfare, Munirka, New Delhi. During his tenure in Govt. service, he held various administrative posts such as the Head of Department of Medicine and Additional Medical Superintendent of an over 300 bedded Govt. Hospital. He also took keen interest in teaching undergraduate Junior Residents and Postgraduate Senior Residents.
Throughout his academic and professional career, Dr.Narendra Verma has remained deeply committed to Medical education as well as Comprehensive Medical Care. Dr. Verma's belief in "Never stop learning because life never stops teaching" is a source of inspiration for all .
