Mission
  • To teach medical students in preventive, promotive, curative and rehabilitative health care
  • To deliver quality health care services through outreach, health camps in collaboration with Government , NGOs and community
  • To strengthen partnerships with community, government, NGOs and other stakeholders for advancement of service provision, hand – in – hand with teaching, training and research.

Dr. Sonal Kumar

Dr.Sonal Kumar is a a dedicated, experienced Public Health Specialist with 18 years of work experience in Public Health with Delhi Government. She has done her Post Graduation in Community medicine under the able guidance of Late Proff Dr.Deoki Nandan, a renowned figure in Public Health. She is also empanelled as an External National Quality Assessor for Public Health facilities by NHSRC, MOHFW. Her key areas of interest are Program implementation, training, and monitoring.

Professional Experience :
  • 18 years of experience as a Medical Lecturer in Health & Family Welfare Training Centre, Directorate of Family Welfare, Govt. of NCT, Delhi.
  • Led Adolescent health Program and Weekly Iron Folic Supplementation (WIFS) program
  • Appointed as a State Nodal Officer for line listing of Severe Acute Respiratory Illness & Influenza-Like Illness (SARI/ILI) and overall management of Medical Oxygen Supply (Apr–Jul 2020) during the unprecedented crises of COVID -19

Presented a paper on “Awareness regarding HIV/AIDS among Adolescents in Agra” and poster on “Child Feeding Practices among Rural Under-3-Year-Olds in Agra” in IPHA/IAPSM Joint Conference (Tirupati, 2006)

Presented a paper on “Complementary Feeding Practices in Rural Agra” in IAPSM (UP Chapter, Lucknow, 2006)

Dr Kanika Bansal is a highly qualified and passionate Public Health expert with national as well as international work experience. She is dedicated to developing cost-effective solutions for delivery of quality PHC services for Universal Health Coverage.

In her 7 years of service in Community Medicine, she has worked across seven states of India. She has gained experience as senior resident at PGIMER, Chandigarh and VMMC & SJH, New Delhi. She has worked as research assistant in the Dept of International Health at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, USA.
